Although Inbox 3.0 was designed to help you hit that exclusive Inbox zero, this guide should help you navigate through your chats chronologically sorted whether you use Auto-Archive or not.

How to see your messages chronologically sorted if you're using Auto-Archive?

If you use the Auto-Archive feature, you've seen that your Inbox is on zero chats however that doesn't mean you can't go through your messages chronologically.

To watch all your messages chronologically sorted, you just need to:

  • Beeper Desktop: Tap over the Archive button.
  • Beeper iOS: Tap over the Archive button.
  • Beeper Android: All your archived messages will be available under the Inbox (unread) section.

How to see your messages chronologically sorted if you don't use Auto-Archive?

If you prefer not to user the Auto-Archive feature, all your messages will remain in the Inbox section also chronologically sorted, except for pinned and favorited chats (if you have “Show first… Favorite chats.” enabled in Archive settings).

Those chats that were marked as archived, by clicking the check-mark or if you user Auto-Archive before, will remain archived even with Auto-Archive set to Never. Those message will show up in the Inbox section once you receive a new message in them and will remain there.

Chat Network filters

You can always see all your messages chronologically sorted in the Chat Network filter as well.
