Inbox - How to see messages in chronological order
Although Inbox 3.0 was designed to help you hit that exclusive Inbox zero, this guide should help you view your chats in chronological order.
If you're using Auto-Archive:
If you use the Auto-Archive feature, your inbox will likely be showing you zero chats as your messages will be moved to the Archive folder depending on what your setting is. If you want to see your messages in chronological order, you can do the following:
- Beeper Desktop and iOS: Head over to the Archive folder by selecting the Archive icon. Messages will be automatically shown in chronological order there!
- Beeper Android: Archive and Auto-Archive is currently unavailable in Beeper Android. You'll see all your messages chronologically, except for chats marked as Low Priority (if you've marked any on Beeper Desktop or iOS).
If you don't use Auto-Archive:
If you prefer not to user the Auto-Archive feature, all your messages will remain in the Inbox section also already chronologically sorted, except for pinned and favorited chats (if you have “Show Favorite Chats First” enabled in Archive settings).
Chats that have previously been archived will remain archived even with Auto-Archive set to Never. Those messages will show up in the Inbox section once you receive a new message in them and will remain there.
Chat Network Filters
Your messages will always be displayed chronologically in the Chat Network filters.
