How do I report a problem?

Let's talk about reporting problems to Beeper… Its easy!

Desktop

You can report a problem by:

1. Take a screenshot of the problem.
2. Click your Beeper account avatar, on the bottom left corner, under your chat network Spaces
3. Go to About
4. Click Report a Problem
5. Fill out the form that follows, and add screenshots/videos as necessary.
6. Hit Submit.

If the issue is related to a specific message, a message failing to send, e.g., please follow these instructions which add additional details to the report:

1. Find the message with a problem.
2. Take a screenshot.
3. Right-click the message in question. Then select Report a Problem.

Android

How to Report a Problem: General Problems (UI. e.g.)

1. Open Beeper Android
2. Go to Settings
3. Select Report a Problem
   1. Please be specific; include screenshots/ screen recordings if necessary.
4. Press the Submit icon

How to Report a Problem: Messages Problems (Sending Problems. e.g.)

1. Open Beeper Android
2. Open the chat with the messages in question
3. Long-press the messages with the issue (Failed to send, Unable to load media, Delayed sending, etc.)
4. Select Report a Problem
   1. Please be specific; include screenshots/ screen recordings if necessary.
5. Press the Submit icon

iOS

You can report a problem by:

1. Tapping on the Chat Network Spaces button in the upper-left corner.
2. Hit Settings.
3. Tap on Report a Problem
4. Fill out the form that follows, and add screenshots/videos as necessary.
5. Hit Submit.

To report a problem with a specific message, you can:

1. Long press a message.
2. Hit Report a Problem.
