Can I make calls or video chat in Beeper?
Learn how to use audio and video calls alongside Beeper without getting duplicate message notifications.
Calls are not supported
Audio and video calls are not currently supported inside Beeper. To make or join a call, open the native app for that chat network.
While Beeper does not support receiving calls from your chat networks, we send you a note in the chat room where you're receiving a call so you can open your native chat network app and answer the call from there directly. We recommend keeping the native chat network app installed for audio and video calls.
Avoiding duplicate notifications
On Android and iOS, you may be able to adjust the native app’s notifications so Beeper handles message notifications while the native app continues to notify you about calls. The available options vary by app and operating system.
