In Beeper, Beeper apps, and while requesting support via help@beeper.com, you might encounter the term “bridge”. If this is the first time you have heard of such a word in a chat network context, do not fret; you're not the only one.

What is a bridge?

In the Beeper context, a bridge is how Beeper (and Matrix) connects to a specific chat network. Each network per user has its own bridge.

While requesting support, a bridge might also be called a connection or link.
