What Is the Beeper Recovery Code?

Your Beeper Recovery Code is an important security feature that lets you regain access to your account and message history if you're ever locked out. We recommend saving it somewhere safe as soon as it becomes available.

How to Find Your Recovery Code

There are two ways to access your Beeper Recovery Code:

1. Recovery Code Banner

About 24 hours after creating your account, a banner will appear in the app prompting you to save your Recovery Code. We recommend acting on this promptly.

2. Through Settings

You can also access your Recovery Code through the app settings:

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Profile
3. Click the dropdown menu (▾)
4. Select Show Recovery Code

Keep It Safe

Once you have your Recovery Code, store it somewhere secure, such as a password manager. You won't be able to recover your account without it if you lose access.
