TL;DR: This can be done using Beeper Desktop. For Beeper Android and iOS, this is still a work in progress.

How to change your Beeper account email address

Using Beeper Desktop:

1. Open Beeper Desktop app and go to Settings 
2. Tap your Beeper Profile (presented with your name) at the top of the Settings sidebar.
3. From your Beeper Profile, you can change your linked email from the email address field.
   • 💡 You can also change your Beeper/Matrix name in this section. Changes applied to your name here should reflect only on your Beeper/Matrix chats. The name you set here will be the name your Beeper/Matrix contacts will see when they chat with you. 

Using Beeper Android or iOS:

FAQs

1. What if I no longer have access to the email address on my account?
   Beeper Support verifies email change requests through the email currently linked to your account. If you can't verify your identity that way, we're unable to proceed with the change.
    
2. What happens to my account if I can't verify my email?
   If your account becomes inactive for some time, Beeper will automatically delete all of your chat network connections and messages associated with the account.
    
3. Can I change my email from the mobile app?
   Not yet. This is currently only available on Beeper Desktop. If Beeper Desktop isn't an option for you, submit a bug report from your app, and our team can take care of it from there.
    
4. Should I use an iCloud Hidden Email for my Beeper account?
   We don't recommend it. Hidden Emails can't be used to send messages. Create a standard alias at icloud.com > Mail instead if you'd prefer not to use your main address.
    
5. Do I need my Beeper username to request a change?
   Yes, have it ready before contacting Beeper Support so we can locate your account and verify the request.
    
6. Should I use a personal or a company email for my Beeper account?
   It's your choice, but we recommend using a personal email rather than a company one; this avoids losing access to your Beeper account if you ever leave that job or lose access to the company email.
