Article Purpose

This article will guide you through steps you can use, if you’d like to remove any additional/unused Beeper Mac devices linked to your Apple ID.

Why do I need to do this?

Whenever you setup iMessage on Beeper, you are assigned a Beeper Mac device that will show up on your iCloud account. If you setup the bridge a few times you might have multiple Beeper Mac devices on your iCloud account.

Also, Apple has a limit of ten devices (no more than five computers) associated with your Apple ID for purchases at one time and if you have already reached this limit you might experience issues connecting your Apple ID to Beeper so it is helpful to remove the unused devices

💡 This includes all devices with App Store and iTunes Store: Mac, iPhone, iPad, Windows (iTunes).

Steps to manage your Apple ID linked devices:

  1. Send a message to Beeper Support chat from your Beeper app to confirm the current Beeper Mac device assigned to you.
  2. On your browser, go to appleid.apple.com and Sign in.
  3. From the left panel, select Devices.

  4. Select the Beeper Mac #XX that is no longer associated with your Beeper account and hit “Remove from Account” in the window that opens. Please DO NOT remove the current Beeper Mac associated with your Beeper account
