Although it's not possible to use your phone number as an iMessage alias while your SIM/eSIM is active on an Android device, you can still use iMessage on Beeper through your iMessage email alias.

To ensure a seamless iMessage experience while using Beeper on an iPhone and avoid missing messages, we recommend you follow these steps:
How to set up iMessage Text Message Forwarding?
First, while setting up iMessage on Beeper, you'll get to this screen:

As instructed, on your iPhone, go to Setting → Messages → Text Message Forwarding → Then enable the Mac device with the name “Beeper (Mac)”. Return to Beeper Desktop and press Continue.

To confirm everything is correctly setup, on Beeper Desktop, go to Gear icon → Chat Networks → iMessage, and you should see a screen like this:

Make sure, on this screen, you see Text Message Forwarding Enabled and that your phone number is listed under aliases. (Using Dual SIM, you could have both phone numbers in Beeper).
Confirm that you also have a Default Alias set.
On your iPhone, go to Settings → Messages → Text Message Forwarding, and check that “Beeper (Mac)” is enabled as shown below:

You're now ready to use iMessage on Beeper on your iPhone and use your phone number.
